This privacy policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give us when you use this website.
Garden Care Help Plan
Where we have provided an estimate for the work required, we will make every effort to undertake and complete the work within the cost estimated. However, you must accept that an estimate is not a quote and we cannot be held to the estimated amount.
Payment will be due on completion of the work. However, we reserve the right to request a deposit in advance where the work requires capital expense on your behalf (e.g. where we have paid for turf that we will lay for you).
We reserve the right to charge separately or additionally for work that you ask us to undertake that was not part of the original estimate or arises from circumstances about which we could have had no prior knowledge when preparing the estimate.
Annual Garden Service Plan
The Annual Garden Service Plan is a 12 month plan whereby the garden maintenance tasks to be undertaken are agreed in advance with you. We reserve the right to charge separately for additional work that we are asked to do that is outside of the originally agreed service plan. Alternatively we may agree with you to renegotiate the Service Plan to include the additional work.
You benefit from the Service Plan by having your garden maintained regularly and appropriately at every season of the year. We benefit by having a regular source of income. This allows us to offer the service at less cost than our normal charge for ad hoc garden help work.
The Service Plan cost is calculated based on the amount of maintenance that you wish us to undertake. It is not a scheme that is based on a set number of hours per day, week or month. The amount of time needed for the work will vary from season to season, and this is allowed for in the price.
In order to simplify the accounting for both yourself and us, we calculate what the cost will be over the course of a full year, divide this by 12 and invoice you for this amount each month. Because of the seasonality of the work, this means that there may be times where we have undertaken either more or less work than you have been invoiced for.
Should you cancel the agreement before the end of the 12 month period, then work undertaken will no longer qualify for a reduced rate. We will calculate the amount of work undertaken since the inception of the Annual Service Plan at our standard rate and will invoice you for any amount outstanding. No refund will be made should you have paid more than the calculated amount .
Summer Garden Service Plan
The Summer Garden Service Plan offers the same level of service as the Annual Service Plan, but only for the summer months. As with the Annual Plan, the tasks to be undertaken are agreed in advance with you and we reserve the right to charge separately for additional work that we are asked to do that is outside of the originally agreed Service Plan. Alternatively we may agree with you to renegotiate the Service Plan to include the additional work.
The plan differs from the Annual Garden Service Plan in that our visits are limited to the months May to September inclusive. You will be invoiced at the end of each summer month in arrears for the work undertaken. As with the Annual Plan, the Summer Service Plan is offered at a special rate. Should you cancel the agreement early, then work undertaken will no longer qualify for a reduced rate. We will calculate the amount of work undertaken since the inception of the Service Plan at our standard rate and will invoice you for any amount outstanding.
Holiday Maintenance Plan
There is no set format for this. It will be based entirely on what you would like us to do to look after your garden while you are away. This may typically include lawn mowing once a week and watering your garden at least once a week (twice a week should conditions demand this). You may decide to have other work done whilst you are away, such as weeding, dead-heading, pruning or other seasonal tasks.
Each arrangement is costed individually depending on what you wish to have done.
Our Commitment to you
